Asphalt pumps installation

(1) before the installation asphalt pumps, the pump body and motor shall be checked for damage during transportation, such as whether the motor is dampened, whether the dust cover of the pump inlet and outlet is damaged, and so on, so that the dirt can enter the pump chamber.
(2) asphalt pump and motor are installed on the low plate. When using the crane, the lifting rope must be suspended in the lifting ring on the bottom plate.
The pump head must be hung on the flanged pipe at the inlet and outlet.
(3) asphalt pump installation should be selected in dry and bright places, so as to check with the management of the pump in operation.
If the oil pump needs to be close to the wall device, a space must be reserved for easy disassembly and maintenance, and the pump should not be installed in the place of dampness, sun, wind and rain.
If the installation site is flooded, the pump must be above the maximum water level.

(4) the asphalt pump should be fixed on a solid base to avoid pipe loosening and vibration, and bolted to prevent the bottom plate from deformation.
If a separate pump head is mounted on the machine, it must be placed where the vibration is minimum.
(5) before installing the inlet and outlet pipelines, kerosene must be used to flush the inner wall of the pipelines. Sundries are not allowed. If such substances enter the pump body, the gears will be damaged.
Pump inlet and outlet pipe size should not be less than pump inlet and outlet diameter size.
The inlet pipe should adopt a larger diameter, the shorter the inlet pipe should be, the larger the bend radius should be, and the valve on the pipe should adopt the gate valve to reduce resistance.
(6) asphalt gear pump does not need to install the bottom valve, because the resistance of the bottom valve is very big, but it is recommended to install the metal filter net at the inlet of the inlet pipe to prevent sundries from entering the pump. The effective area of the oil filter net should not be less than twice the area of pipe diameter, and the oil suction mouth of the inlet pipe should be cut into 45.

(7) the pump shaft and motor shaft shall be installed with concentricity. It is possible to grasp and cut off the coupling when installed with poor concentricity.
